First Responder PTSD Prevention

Recent neuroscience discoveries at Oxford show that playing a game-like animation exercise like Tetris within 4 hours of exposure to a traumatic event can prevent storage of the emotional components of images in long-term memory. Since these cause subsequent PTSD flashbacks, limiting them can prevent PTSD. We have developed our own animation exercise to strengthen this effect, based on a timed jigsaw puzzle.
